Susan O’Neill & Associates Senior Associate, Pam Jackson, developed, coordinated and  facilitated the July 7-10, 2014 Suffolk University Sawyer Business School Executive MBA Program’s Washington Policy Seminar. This annual program consists of a four-day schedule of meetings and briefings introducing executive students to a wide variety of Washington business, association, policy and legislative leaders to help them gain a greater understanding of current economic and policy issues and how they impact business at the macro and micro levels; how business can participate in and influence policymaking, and how business leaders can strategically incorporate public policy expectations into strategy formulation and decision-making. The 2014 cohort of Massachusetts business professionals met with leaders at the following Washington offices: Witt/O’Briens; Treasurer of the United States, U.S. Department of the Treasury; U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Center for American Progress; National Federation of Independent Business; Office of Public Engagement, The White House; Office of the Undersecretary for International Trade, U.S. Department of Commerce; Delegation of the European Union to the United States; The Business Roundtable; The Honorable Elizabeth Warren, United States Senator, Massachusetts; and the U.S. Federal Reserve.
