The Coast Guard Foundation provides annual funding to support the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard and Coast Guard Academy.  Admiral Thad Allen has often been quoted as saying, “The Coast Guard Foundation rescues the rescuers!” The Foundation provides scholarships to over 50 children of enlisted personnel and educational grants to nearly 1,200 Coasties pursuing college degrees. The Foundation distributes funding among all nine Coast Guard districts, overseas units and the Academy.

Tribute Dinner participants comprise the most committed supporters of the Coast Guard and its mission.  They are top corporate leaders, government officials and policy makers committed to our national defense and homeland security.  The dinner also includes members of the U.S. Coast Guard who bravely and selflessly serve our nation.
