Mike Nichols' Charlie Wilson's War is based on the dramatic life of Texas Congressman Charlie Wilson. Tom Hanks stars as the congressman as the film traces his covert dealings with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan during their war with the Soviets. His aid to the rebels had many unforseen and disastrous consequences.
Susan O'Neill & Associates produced the premiere in December 2007. Many of "Charlie's Angels" attended the event and all the guests enjoyed the film.
